State-Wide Service
Since 1966, Virgil and Sara McPherson have proudly served the entire state of Kansas with safe and responsible demo contracting.
After the June 8th tornado, which destroyed over 3,000 buildings, we wanted to do our part to help. Our 3rd generation company consists of 27 employees including 3 grandchildren.
There are currently twenty-seven employees, including three sons, two grandsons, and a granddaughter who work in the business. They perform industrial, commercial, and residential building demolition throughout northeast Kansas.
They use Bobcat compact equipment and attachments to assist their larger equipment with projects where the complete structure is being demolished and to perform selective demolition of walls, ceilings, and floors where the structure is being renovated.
McPherson Wrecking recently completed projects with their Bobcat compact equipment and attachments on selective demolition, including Allen Fieldhouse renovations at The University of Kansas.
In addition to this, we complete the interior demolition of a nine-story, 103,000-square-foot hotel in Topeka.
Mcpherson Wrecking also worked on the selective interior demolition of the Memorial Union at Emporia State University (totaling 92,000 square feet), and the selective interior demolition of The Manhattan High School (totaling 108,000 square feet).
Further the modernization projects inside the Goodyear plant in Topeka, KS is one of the other projects that Mcpherson Wrecking worked on.
