Since 1966, Virgil and Sara McPherson have proudly served the entire state of Kansas safe and responsible demo contracting.
After the June 8th tornado, which destroyed over 3,000 buildings, we wanted to do our part to help. Our 3rd generation company consists of 27 employees including 3 grandchildren. There are currently twenty-seven employees, including three sons, two grandsons and a granddaughter who work in the business. They perform industrial, commercial and residential building demolition throughout northeast Kansas.
They use Bobcat compact equipment and attachments to assist their larger equipment with projects where the complete structure is being demolished and to perform selective demolition of walls, ceilings and floors where the structure is being renovated.
McPherson Wrecking recently completed projects with their Bobcat compact equipment and attachments on selective demolition, including Allen Fieldhouse renovations at The University of Kansas, complete interior demolition of a nine story, 103,000 square foot hotel in Topeka, selective interior demolition of the Memorial Union at Emporia State University (totaling 92,000 square feet), selective interior demolition of The Manhattan High School (totaling 108,000 square feet) and modernization projects inside the Goodyear plant in Topeka, KS.
